Session 12.6: The Desires of Keres
General Summary
Thiala and Moth descended the rope into deep darkness of the shrine of Keres. "Illuminate". Thiala's words, echoed down the deep pit below, making the shrine's braziers and candles ignite with green flame. Moth's eyes widened and her jaw went slack with awe as she took in the space. "Woah," the only word she could muster.
"Hold on," Thiala whispered in Moth's ear as she pulled out a raven feather and picked her up, holding Moth in her arms as a bride over the threshold. Speaking the arcane words for fly the two lifted from the ground and hovered over the dark pit to the alter in front of the statue of their mother and goddess. Thiala set Moth down upon the alter and the two proceeded to pleasure each other, an offering to Keres. An offering that pleased Keres greatly, as the echoes of the lover's moans of pleasure and ecstasy echoed throughout the chamber. "What do I do, where do I go, what would you have of me?" Thiala held those questions in her mind as the two lovers continued in their offering.
Through their moans Keres' will and desires flowed into Thiala's mind like bolts of lightning, not so much in words, more like the knowledge was burned and etched directly into her brain.
"Build a haven for yourself and the others who belong to Keres where knowledge and passion reign supreme." Thiala sees images of a rebuilt Ivlis, the statue of Keres in its rightful place, then the dungeon of Durst Manor, the dark shrines within dedicated to Keres once again.
The images shift in her mind to Rose, grown to a young woman casting spells and teaching children wearing crowns made of flowers, "She will be your daughter and bring many to Keres' bosom and she won't be the only one, many daughters you will have."
Thiala then sees herself in a large bed with Strahd and his three brides all in the throes of passion. "Join them, seduce them, use them, control them. Through Strahd's blood is the power to control all of Barovia."
Fading into a darker vision of the "Abomination", reborn Ireena, Thiala's vision sees through Ireena's body to the halo resting around where her heart should be. The halo is not the golden circlet Thiala saw when fighting The Abbot, but one tarnished, broken, and corrupted. "Vasha's chosen must be destroyed," the vision shifting to that of an emaciated angel with shadowy wings and a blindfold covering their eyes laugh a wicked laugh.
More images, images of places unknown to her surrounded by the mists, "Other domains hold pieces to the puzzle of understanding and the knowledge and power that comes with it. Explore these domains of dread, discover their secrets, learn how to use the powers held in the mists."
With Thiala and Moth's conjoined climax, the images fade from Thiala's vision in sweet waves, leaving her body convulsing with pleasure upon the alter. Moth is drained, her eyes rolled back in her head and her body goes limp in Thiala's embrace as she descends into unconsciousness.
Recovering herself and putting herself back together, Thiala lifted the unconscious body of Moth from the alter and with the use of another feather, left the shrine, descending the hill towards Ivlis, and tucking her beloved Valentina into bed. After cleaning up a little with the help of The Price of Beauty, Thiala returned to the Windmill to wait for Dark Jade and Gravetender.
