Mumian

An ancient lost language which is the closest to the original dialect of all humanity. Spoken only on a few isolated islands in the Pacific which were the last remnants of the lost continent of Mu. This language was most prevelant on Infant Island where the rituals and leaderhip of the Shobojin Preistesses kept this language intact. Faro Island contains a language which altered and changed in the thousands of years since ancient Mu's destruction. The writing of Mu comprised of hiroglyphics with a similarity to those used in Egypt and a likeness to Chinese Shinograms creating a very stylised script. Examples on ruins showed that a series of these glyphs (different from their regular script) could be imbued with mana to create effects similar to the popular illusion of magic. The Shobojin could use a phonetic version of this script to enact spells without the use of a mgic circle and it seemed that all humans with the psychic ability could utelise this as well with proper training.
