Afanisha

Afanisha was a problem planet before the Dark Age. Massive engineering efforts were attempted to bring in water but the planets weak atmosphere and high temperatures could not hold the moisture. In order to work the planet for its rich mineral resources there was a huge robotic work force that struggled in the environment. When the planet Gaia began using genetically modified humans to work the planet Afanisha followed suit
