The most ferocious of the small worlds

The “Quad” is a small section of the former Cassad Empire. Over the past 1000 years, ever since the beginning of the Age of Discovery, the Quad has been ruled by one of the four major worlds of this small sector; The Arcadians who ruled first albeit briefly, then the Giaks of the Tri-Star system who gained and lost dominance a few times, the Irlons, from Irlon, a world ruled by a Cephalopodic lifeform and finally the Daliuns a people ruled by a long lived family called the Junns. During the Wars of the Blade the system became a war zone as each of the large worlds attempted to gain control while the mighty Cassad military lost their hold. After the Tragedy of Arcadia and the loss of the mighty Daliun command ship and fleet the Junns ordered their remaining forces to maintain control of the Jump Gate at Cannius. Their forces spread thin the Giaks are largely in charge of the rest of the Quad.
