The Half lit World

The Indo scavengers work salvage out in the dead plains where the Electro Magnetic Field is still up on this world. A hold over from the Wars of the Blade, an area about a quarter of the planet is a tech dead zone because whatever’s generated it is still running ten cycles later. Thousands of war ships fell to this planets surface during a particularly nasty battle. Conventional salvage can’t be done but the wrecks are way too valuable to be left out there. So, by hand, the Indo workers work the Dead Plains, dragging the debris clear of the EMF and manually picking the wrecks clean.
