G.R.I.P.

WARNING:
Contains MAJOR spoilers for the Bound Series and the Shadows Series.
Read with caution!
G.R.I.P. is an acroymn for the Grand Rebellion Insurgence Phantom. Shortly after its founding in 1509 EoL, the Wolf Council of the Moonlight Expanse decided to keep each of the Alphas from the controlled territories in check. This caused a lot of stress upon the council members in charge of making decisions, such as making sure the Alphas had a Luna by their eighteenten birthday, regardless if they had met their mate or not. Other issues incuded having an heir and a back-up heir, in case things went sideways, and the war between the Moonlight Expanse and the Itude Empire.   It was (or thought to be) demolished in 2017 EoL by Kěith Cheonsa and Jack McClain, when they fought for their right to be mates as vampires and werewolves being together was seen as a morally corrupt sin.
Moral Codes
  1. Alphas must put the first pack, before anything that is foolish and may get them killed.
  2. Keeping the packs on track to wipe out the vampires is a must.
    • Any Alpha not willing to comply must be either re-educated on the war or be removed from power with a better suited Alpha, who will act like the cold-hearted rule he must be.
  3. Council members must keep to the shadows and retain an iron fist over the Alpha.
  4. Council members are allowed to pick a suitable mate for the Alpha Heir if he has not met his mate by his 18th birthday.
    • The Alpha Heir is also forced to mate with his newly chosen mate that night in the woods/cave near their pack.

History

After their founding, G.R.I.P. worked tirelessly to make sure that the Alphas would not become corrupt. Only members found to contain the moral codes of G.R.I.P. are allowed to take seat within the organization's secret meetings. Others who are considered loyal enough may work as "secretaries." Although, the Wolf Council consists only of former Alphas and Lunas, which allowed easy access to knowledge of what being a leader of a werewolf pack was like.   As of 2019 AD, it is believed that G.R.I.P. is still demolished, but the truth lies within the cracks of the missing money from the Money Funds organized by the Representative of the werewolves and controlled by the current Wolf Council, who is considered to be no longer be corrupt.   Yet, there have been rumors of an organization that is funding the Rogue Alphas responsible for creating the warsworn. Vampires who still remember the historical damage caused by G.R.I.P., believe that G.R.I.P. hides in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Kenny McClain and Ember McClain are known to be two members of this organization when they were still alive on Eskǎvaëís. While Kenny did not agree with most of the rules regarding how an Alpha should act, he did not voice his opinion out of respect for his mate, who had gone through so much in her past regarding the war. Ember was the vicious one of the couple. She treated her mate as though he needed to be cold and calculating, keeping in line with how the Wolf Council believes an Alpha should be.
