The Rebellion in Vol'nische

The war between the Itude Empire and the Moonlight Expanse had taken its toll on many of the people living within the empire. Vampires, witches, and humans alike started to join the Gears Rebellion in the effort to overthrow Emperor Vladimir Tepes and establish a peace treaty with the Moonlight Expanse for the end of the bloodbath.

The Gears Rebellion, Zion Reose began staging many rebellion strikes throughout the Sheltered Inlands Region, taking down corrupt corporations, saving people, and slowing down the production of dangerous warefar weapons, which eventually led to the biggest rebellion strike in 2015 EoL, when Zion and Crown Price Kěith Cheonsa seem to have an argument in front of everyone when it is revealed that Kěith is in search of an "empress" and he plans to take the throne. Zion argues back and the two of them leave their separate ways. In truth, Zion and Kěith have planned for things to go this way as Kěith would secretly be giving Zion information that would help with the rebellion's mission.   The last thing Zion had from Keith was a file containing some information on two Exotic Pet kids that were about to be executed for stealing food from the palace kitchen. Zion couldn't stand to see such a thing happen and put together a team to go rescue them, with Zion leading the mission. Even after witnessing a selfless act from Zion Reose to save those two little children without any care for himself, a bunch of citizens still remained afraid of the empire and did nothing voice, continuing to submit to the empire's cause.

The Rebellion

The heist nearly went off without a hitch when one of Zion's team members caught sight Kěith and attempted to kidnap him to get the emperor to surrender. Zion sent three rebels with the Exotic Pet kids down a different path as Zion and his team took a route to lure the guards away. The kidnapping brought the palace guards upon them, leaving them without many places to hide. Eventually, the rebellion found a small home in Vol'nische, where Zion started bickering with the one who kidnapped the prince. As the arguing wore on, many of the others there tried to point out that the Royal Wardens were searching the area. Yet, the bickering was too much and it gave their position away. The Royal Wardens were able to find them within the hour and they set off a bomb, which blew up the home and sending bricks, concrete, and steel beams down onto those in the house.   When the smoke cleared and the guards were able to clear away the rubble, they found the prince (unharmed due to a powerful fire magick spell) and a remaining rebel still alive. There was no sign of Zion, yet a large puddle of blood was found. It was deemed that he had died and the empire praised the safe return of its prince.   In conclusion, the rebellion had failed in their one attempt to overthrow the emperor all because of one unhinged rebellion member, who was - ironically - the one to survive the destruction of the building.
