In legend, Arkanroth is a minor Angel or perhaps a Nephalim, the firstborn of angels and men. Little is known but that he betrayed the Heavenly Host during the great Conflagration and was cursed to bear the immortality, thirst and corruption of what came to be called vampirism for all time.
