The Order of the Luminous Dawn

Founded during the tumultuous era of the War of the Crimson Crescent, the Order of the Luminous Dawn emerged as a beacon of hope and faith in the face of the Nachstein family's dark revelations. The founder, a charismatic and devout paladin named Sir Reinhardt Falkenhayn, rallied like-minded warriors and believers to establish an order dedicated to upholding the principles of righteousness, justice, conviction, and integrity within the framework of the Old Faith.

Structure

High Radiant: The highest-ranking paladin within the order, considered the spiritual leader and chief defender of the faith. The High Radiant is chosen through a sacred ceremony and serves until their passing or voluntary retirement.   Radiants: These are experienced paladins who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and valor. Radiants lead specific divisions within the order, oversee training, and act as advisors to the High Radiant.   Dawnseekers: Initiates and junior members who undergo rigorous training both in martial combat and spiritual disciplines. Aspiring paladins prove their worth through deeds of valor, dedication to the Old Faith, and adherence to the order's principles.

Public Agenda

Guardians of the Faith: The primary purpose of the Order is to act as guardians of the Old Faith, protecting its sacred sites, preserving its ancient traditions, and defending the faithful against external threats.   Defenders of Dawnstadt: Committed to the well-being of the city, the paladins of the Luminous Dawn stand as defenders against supernatural forces, ensuring the safety of both the Old Faith's followers and the wider populace.   Agents of Justice: In times of conflict, the paladins serve as instruments of justice, upholding moral principles and combating those who seek to disrupt the delicate balance between the mortal realm and the divine.   Spiritual Guides: Beyond their martial roles, the paladins act as spiritual guides and mentors, offering counsel and support to the community. They participate in ceremonies, festivals, and rituals, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.
