Cross Clock

A spherical item that allows elves to watch times from other countries or even other worlds. Most commonly used by PR for news outlets and information sharing. Also widely used by political leaders who need to be aware of other major events, research, and findings within the magical community. Most manufacturers default to the Council's time area.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Before the clock can be used, it must be initiated. The amount of energy required for initiation depends on how far away the time area is from the user. This distance also affects the ambient magic inside, and thus affects the number of times that one clock can track. The default distance is 5 Darwins per tracking. Once a cross clock has been initiated, no magic is required to use or view the times being tracked.
