Astril

Astril was formerly part of the Drostenian Empire, before it was defeated in 1429AC. In the turmoil that followed, Astril was formed and is run as a Kritarchy, ruled by acouncil of 7 judges known as the Righteous Few. They reside in the Zenith Tribunal, a large courthouse based in Stone Vein. Each town is then ruled over by a Judge, who independently decides on laws, punishments, etc, but is given general rules and guidelines to follow by the Righteous Few.
