Xumos

Xumos (pronounced Zoo-moss) is the God of Knowledge, often known as the Librarian, due to his mythological library containing every single deed commited by every soul that has ever lived. As Dascapus grew and flourished, Dygnera realised she would need a record keeper, so she bought across Xumos and charged him with keeping all of the information in the world. He created his library in Elysium, and for each individual soul that lives, he creates a book which is then filled with all their thoughts and deeds from the moment they are born to the moment they die.

Worshippers of Xumos range from scientists to librarians to teachers and even wizards and sages; anyone who wishes to further their knowledge and understanding of the world. Any place of teaching or institute of knowledge would be considered sacred ground by Xumos, and for this reason many schools and universities have iconography and symbols relating to Xumos scattered around their grounds.

Festivals

There aren't very many festivals dedicated to Xumos specifically, but some universities, such as the College of Clearpeak, often host festivals of learning.

Champions

It is widely believed that Xumos has never chosen a champion. This is said to be because he has yet to find a mortal individual worthy enough to visit his library and assume responsibility of caretaker. Salvador Goo'gel is commonly accepted as being the individual who came closest to becoming Xumos' first champion, but no evidence supporting his ascension has been discovered.
