Corpse Tree
When the spores of the Corpse Puff land on a corpse of sufficient size (or multiple corpses), a corpse tree will grow, a colony of mushrooms.
Corpse Trees can reach five feet in height, their trunk a pale light green with a visible interlacing physical structure beneath the skin. The top third to half of the structure is covered with individual corpse puffs, while the lower part may be hijacked by mushrooms of various types.
These colonies can reach such heights due to repurposing the calcium in the bones of the fallen to create a 'skeleton' to support it's weight. This skeleton is not as strong as a normal bone, thus the tree can be easily knocked down. Doing so, however, is not advised, as the impact will cause a mass release of spores that can quickly suffocate those nearby.
