Lobehan elk

These elk are roughly the same size as giant elk yet not quite as rare. The exact nature or origin of this sub species of elk is not yet known to scholars yet it’s hypothesized to have some connection with the the moon Lobeh. Standing around 7ft tall to the shoulder these elk have much higher stamina and strength than other elk of comparable sizes.
Originally found in the Silvio forrests around the year 2445 P.C.E. These elk have distinct pale green antlers which give off a light glow when moon light shines upon them. Now only a singular heard of them is known and is most often left to their own devices. These elk are of great cultural significance to the tribal peoples that reside with in the forests. Highly sought after by many merchants, knights and travelers alike, you must first prove yourself to the Balandi peoples and they will then grant you the ability to try and tame one of these creatures.
The nature of the Lobehan elk mean that they are long lived and frequently will out live their owners. As of the year 2813 there are 7 of these elk being used by people in the Drocian empire. Empress Ophelia Eustice currently has one which was tamed by her father Alexander 53 years prior. A second is used by the military advisor Conor Malfer which he tamed himself 13 years ago. The whereabouts of the remaining 5 are not publicly know. Rumors suggest that there are two of them around Ghostwood, one around the area of Comdosa port and the last two are fully unaccounted for.
The antlers of these elk have strong medicinal properties due to the celestial connection they have. As such they are frequently used in healing rituals by the Balandi peoples and highly sought after in underground markets for they fetch a high price.
