World adeventure hook

As you fall into the sea, the cold water chills your bones as you hold your breathe and struggle to get back to the surface... you gasp, as you taste the salty water water enter your mouth, kicking and flailing you continue to fight, until the world goes dark. A warm sensation overcomes your body, as you fall still... and embrace the silence... until you hear it, a soft whisper in the darkness, "Come to me child, set me free, and live again."
With the promise of regaining ones mortality, a small party of sailers, pirates, fishermen and nautical travels alike awaken on the beach. Coughing and spitting out sea water, they begin to find footing, taking in the events that have lead them to this watery hell, pondering whether the other "survivors" on the beach should be trusted.
Somewhere in this strange mass of islands lie in wait of rescue, Kalyspo, goddess of the seas, has been imprisoned by Jone's lackeys, giving him total control over the seas of the living.
