Greek Culture (1.2)

The Greeks traveled through their local gateway from Earth during the Earth calendar year 490 BC. Here in the Dawn Lands, they established several large city-states with many smaller, outlying villages and towns. Upon settlement, they soon came into contact with the elves in the south and the dwarves to the east. They have been established in the Dawn Lands for around 800 years.

Religion

The Greek culture still worships their pantheon from ancient Earth. One notable change is that they now hold fae and forest creatures in high religious regard. They also have a reverence for elves; their deity Aphrodite is portrayed as an elvish maiden in the Dawn Lands.

Special Abilities

Level 1

Round Shield Use: You can use round shields.
Friend of the Fae: You do not suffer the drawbacks of Fae Curse, but you still gain the bonuses.
Javelin Use: You gain the ability to use three javelins per day (3x/day), or if you are a class that can use them, you do +1 damage with javelins. Can be refilled by a smith, at a forge, or similar location.

Level 3

Advanced Javelin Training: Damage from your javelins are increased by +1.

Level 6

Zeus's Blessing: You may call upon Zeus for his blessing. You gain +2 weapon damage and three uses of Lightning Bolt. This lasts for the rest of the encounter, duel, or battle. Unused Lightning Bolts are lost. This ability can be used once per day (1x/day) and cannot be renewed.
Lightning Bolt: This is a blue spell packet. You must call out “lightning bolt” when throwing the packet. Deals 2 points of damage, ignores APR, and can not be blocked by shields. Can be cast three times per day (3x /day) once Zeus’s Blessing is activated.

Level 9

Favor of Zeus: You have permanent immunity to electrical spells and abilities like Lightning Bolt.
