Hibernia

Hibernia is a thriving town nestled just east of the imposing Dwarven Alliance mountains, a testament to Reman ingenuity and adaptability on Shiandria. As the first settlement established when the Romans ventured through the portal from Earth, Hibernia serves as a vital bridge between two worlds. The town's layout reflects classic Roman architecture, with well-ordered streets, robust stone buildings, and public spaces designed for communal gatherings. The western edge of Hibernia is characterized by gentle rolling hills, offering picturesque views and a serene landscape that contrasts with the bustling fields to the east, where agriculture thrives thanks to the fertile soil.   A significant trade road runs through Hibernia, linking the Dwarven capital city of Nar'a'shay with the Reman capital of New Rome. This road is more than just a route for goods; it symbolizes the symbiotic relationship between the Remans and the Dwarves, facilitating the exchange of culture, technology, and knowledge. The road bustles with activity, hosting caravans laden with goods, travelers, and adventurers eager to explore new territories or engage in commerce. Markets along this thoroughfare are vibrant with a blend of Reman and Dwarven goods, ranging from finely crafted Dwarven metalwork to Reman wine and olive oil, creating a unique cultural tapestry.   The town’s strategic position has made it an important hub for diplomacy and trade. Hibernia's residents are a diverse mix of Remans, Dwarves, and other races drawn by the opportunities the town presents. Public baths, forums, and amphitheaters provide spaces for socialization and entertainment, ensuring that despite its relatively modest size, Hibernia thrives as a center of activity and prosperity.
