Tessa Ravenhart

Tessa Ravenhart hails from the north west and is part of the Emerald Folk Culture. She was an oracle who rode trade vessels to different lands and read the cards and bones. She dabbled in both white and black magick. Her ancestors were well traveled traders and eventually traveled through the north portal and landed in the Dawnlands. They spent time jumping from one world to the next until the northern portal gate stopped working. Tessa has learned much from her family and was taught their secret paths, trails, and routes.  She inherited that and ther classic Irish Lilt from them. She is a well-traveled oracle trying to find her way to a place she belongs, whether it be a temple or a roaming group.   Tessa is connected to the earth and all the elements that entails. She leans more toward the woods and the energies there, and she talks to the animals who live in the woods. She hides in the shadows but comes out when someone needs healing. She uses the energies from the earth to heal and bring back the dead. A little bit of gold or silver usually helps the healing go faster. She is not above taking trinkets in trade for her services. Her favorite trinkets are keys and crystals. Her loyalty can be bought for gold or silver.   She sets up a little shop called The Wayfare where she sells some books, little boney lads and lasses, and mini alter kits for those who want to honor the Lady and Lord on their long tours of the isles. She also reads her Dawnland cards and bones in this little shop.   Sometimes she helps out with quests and if she doesn’t set up shop she can be found doing other things. She may offer healing for a price. Maybe bring your fallen friend back to life for some gold… he is worth some gold isn’t he or she? Maybe she is part of the quest you are looking for?

What is an NPC

If you’d like to play, but want to reduce costs, then you can sign up as an NPC or Monster. If you choose to play as an NPC or monster, you may be given a role (perhaps more than one). You can specify a combat or non-combat role. You don’t have to choose a class and culture as an NPC, we will choose one for you. You will receive double experience points, standard starting gold, and are eligible for Royalty Points. You will also get an entry at half price.

THE PURPOSE


Monsters, NPCs, and Staff allow the LARP to run smoothly and help players who don't know exactly what they want to play, or that want to help, and/or need help with discounts to take part in the LARP.

The BIG Difference


between an NPC and an Adventurer is that an NPC’s primary job is to help the story move forward and to help players. NPCs fill jobs like healers, essential townsfolk roles, etc.
