Held annually during the festival, it offers a formalized and ceremonial gateway into the Covenant’s rigorous program. The event is a blend of tradition and innovation, embodying the Covenant's commitment to finding and nurturing the next generation of elite members.
Potential new student can be of any age. The only requirement is that they are seen fit. Should an adult desire to present themselves they could do so. However, in most cases, parents are presenting their children who are between 6 and 12 years old.

Timing and Setting

The Whispering takes place on the second day of the Convergence Festival, seamlessly integrating into the festivities. It spans an entire day, with multiple sessions to accommodate the number of applicants. The event is held in the Aegis Hall, an impressive, multi-purpose venue within the Covenant’s complex. The Screening Process

Those families who have a child chosen are seen as being part of the elite, even if they themselves are not of the Covenant. These families are honored for having brought for worthy children.
