I’m horribly jealous of anyone who can outshine my handiwork. Everywhere I go, I’m surrounded by rivals. Much of her perfectionism is driven by a strong desire to prove that she is worthy and that her work is on par with that of the other scribes. The idea of being less than others in her profession is terrifying to her.
