THIS WEEK'S THEME: CHANGE

Assignment 1

• Consider what kind of changes would fit in with your world's themes, genre, and other foundational points.

The Dawn of Others world is built on the idea of a world in midst of change. The biggest change in the world is The Fall. While this event happened 113 years ago, humanity is still actively trying to recover. Society and culture are in the porcess of rebuilding. Add into that the Zombies and The Others. Humanity itself isn't what it once was. Even if a character is born Human, they will live there entire life at risk of changing into a Zombies or The Others.
In brings up the themes of:

• What makes us human?
• How much can an individual change and still continue to be that individual?
• Individual vs. Society

The Genres of this world are:

• Horror
• Science fantasy
• Post Apocalyptic
• Dystopia

• Based on this, decide how many prompts you'll go for during Summer Camp. Then, download the pledge document and fill it accordingly!

I make this pledge with the understanding that life is unpredictable and that spoons will vary. But I am looking to next month with the plan of completing as many of the prompts as I can. I would like to actually complete all of them. That all being said, I have a full time job that has unpredicatable demands on my time and energy. I also have chronic illness that waxes and wanes. So, I am also planning on being gentle with myself.

• Get your categories and tags organized!

I am really happy with the set up for my categories already and have no desire to make cahnges to them at this point. They are going to remain as they are at this time. Partly because they are living things that I regularly adjust and modify as I need them to anyway. I feel like continuing with that method is a better way to go for me.
