Arkenian Empire

The Arkenian Empire dominated much of the continent of Riela during the later period of the 3rd Dawn (while being on the rise for the majority of the era).
The Arkenian Empire crushed and absorbed dozens of other realms and separated the world to the point where it caused a separation of the realms of the Dwarves & Elves, creating distinct cultures.
Eventually the Arkenian Empire suffered a series of calamaties that, after centuries of decadence mismanagement, caused it's collapse.  
The far western fragment of the empire survived and considered themselves the successors to the Arkenian Empire, however within a matter of centuries, Acrintine rose and claimed that title in opposition to the Western Arkenian Empire.
