As the Skavvar people settled on the eastern shores of the midwaters, over generations they had their language develop entirely without influence from the others as the Emenar Desert and The Divide created natural land barriers preventing regular intermixing of the people. Due to this, the language has an entirely different alphabet from the West and Southern languages.
The language itself is described as guttural and aggressive, often intimidating to the uninitiated.
