Government

Tudor is governed by a Council of Scholars named The Prime Mages, a group of the most accomplished and respected magic users in the city. They are responsible for maintaining the balance of magic within Tudor and ensuring the safety of its residents. Thier Renown throughout Dayne is unmatched in each of thier specializations in the 9 Schools of Magic.

Districts

The city is made of 3 major Districs that split the city.  

The Celestial Quarter:

The focus of Tudor's magical influence, this district is home to the city's most prestigious structure, The Great Library at Tudor. The Lands of Daynes most prominent research institution. A massive towering Library filled with Ancient Tomes, Stories, Rituals and Scrolls line the shelves. Normal to see aspiring Scholars of both demonations practicing their spells in the open squares. Secondly, The Celestial Quarter, or the CQ to the locals, The bustling central market where magical items, rituals scrolls, and enchantments are bought and sold. Lastly, The inner most part of the Celestial Quarter are lined with grand crystal towers that serve as the residences for the city's most accomplished mages. Each tower is adorned with a unique array of runes, representing the achievements and expertise of its occupant, @[The Prime Mages]. Each of these powerful Scholars specialize in a certain facet of thier respective focus of Earth or Celestial magic.  

The Ethereal Gardens:

A lush, sprawling park in Tudor where flora and fauna are imbued with ritual magic, causing them to shimmer and bloom in vibrant, ever-changing colors. It's a favorite spot for residents and visitors to relax, meditate, or witness the city's botanical enchantments. The Ethereal Gardens spans severeal levels into the canopies of the Overgrown Trees, drawing inspiration from the great elven cities of The Northern Wood. Nestled into the Gardens is The Aviary of Whispers. Here, enchanted birds reside, their melodious songs carrying messages from one corner of the Kingdom to another. Visitors often gather to witness the captivating displays of this one of a kind avian magic.  

The Arches:

The Arches District is the heart of Tudor and where the majority of the city's populace resides. This district is situated in a central position, making it easily accessible to the Celestial District and The Ethereal Gardens. While not as extravagantly magical in its architecture as some other areas, the Arches District has its own unique charm and significance. The Arches District is known for its distinctive architecture, characterized by elegant stone buildings with arched doorways and windows. The streets are lined with lush, hanging gardens that are filled with flowering plants and ivy, creating a beautiful and vibrant environment. While the buildings in the Arches District might not be as overtly magical as those in other areas of Tudor, they are often imbued with subtle enchantments for comfort and security. Rituals embedded in the walls themselves provide protection and regulate the indoor climate, ensuring residents' well-being.

Tudor is a popular tourist destination, drawing visitors who are eager to witness the city's enchanting architecture and experience its magical atmosphere. The Arena is a dazzling and exhilarating spectacle where skilled Scholars, Adepts, and Spellswords showcase their magical prowess in thrilling and controlled combat. This arena is not only a place of entertainment but also serves as a hub for training, competition, and the development of magical combat techniques.

Architecture

Tudor is famed for its enchanting architecture, which seamlessly incorporates magic into every facet of the city's design. The buildings in Tudor are a unique blend of traditional stone masonry and ethereal, shimmering enchantments. The cityscape is dominated by towering spires, intricate bridges, and grand archways, all bearing intricate runic inscriptions that seem to channel magical energies. These runes serve both aesthetic and functional purposes, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle as well as enhancing the city's magical prowess.   The streets of Tudor are lined with luminous cobblestones that emit a gentle, otherworldly glow, ensuring that the city is as beautiful by night as it is by day. Canals and waterways flow throughout the city, often suspended in mid-air, thanks to numerous Bound shard Rituals, offering transportation options for citizens and tourists alike to move about the districs that make up the city.
