Rime Sirens

A tale often told to children around campfires to warn of the dangers wandering off can bring, the terrors of the frozen deadlands are more real than mere stories. Known in myth as the Rime Sirens, the frozen wastes at the northern tip of Nemed play host to a breed of Kenku that use their mimicry to sing alluring songs that dance across the arid winds. It is said that they can be heard on the deadlands border, and more than a few yielding listeners found themselves trudging deeper and deeper into the snow.
