Living Gate

A gate of intense psionic energy created by the Gith during the height of the Gith Empire. Their goal was to create a gateway and send explorers to another realm.
At first, it seemed like a complete failure. But it created enough of a gateway that when the Gem Dragons did their spell to travel to another realm, it connected with this gate, bringing them to the Psionic Realms. They crashed into this gate, breaking it and warping themselves in the process. The shattered remnants of the living gate coalesced into Shardminds.
