Ruedall

Geography

Highlands with poor soil and lowlands on the coast with frequent flooding make this land one not known for easy living, but the people have adapted with dykes and supply routes to make a thriving country.
The proximity to the Throne of Wings means that they are always on guard for dragon attacks but such attacks haven't come lately, making the Ruedali appear lazy.

Fauna & Flora

Very few horses or other domesticated animals live well here the only notable exception being the fondness for hawks and falcons as pets and to help fishing.
The fish are well known on this coastline for their large size and are anywhere between normal coastal fish to tuna sized monstrosities, the tuna being difficult to catch lends fisherman a fearsome reputation.
Trees are few unless near a body of water, when they are normally small leaved due to no real lack of sunlight and frequent rains. Grass is abundant and tall. People used to make thatched roofs, but that changed soon after dragons arrived.

Natural Resources

Known for their rare, precious metals used not in making armor but in improving it and imbuing it with magic properties.
In the lowlands there is plenty of fish to be had and rice grows well enough, leading to a strong sense of community with such work intensive food sources.
