If The Pit is a place of open vice, The Shroud is where the true darkness of The Hollow Exchange resides. It’s tucked away just south of Angell Hall in the stone facade of the old Law Quad. The Shroud is a shadowy, secretive place where the most illicit deals are made.
Technologies, relics from before the fall, are also traded here. Old-world weapons, rare medicines, and even dangerous experimental tech can be found, for a price. But in The Shroud, there are no guarantees—what you buy might save your life, or it might be the death of you.
Slavery, once a horror beyond imagination, has become a grim reality. Whispers circulate of transactions in human lives, shrouded in secrecy and hidden from plain sight.
