Ypsilanti

Ypsilanti, once a small but vibrant city with a population of about 20,000 people, is now a ghostly remnant of its former self. The pandemic has left the streets empty and the buildings in disrepair, with nature beginning to reclaim what humanity once built. The city’s iconic water tower still stands, a solitary sentinel over a landscape of desolation.   The Huron River, which once brought life to the city, now meanders through a near-empty town, its banks overgrown and its waters stagnant. The downtown area, once bustling with students and locals, is eerily silent, with shops and restaurants abandoned and their windows broken or boarded up. What little life remains is huddled in small, tightly-knit factions, each struggling to survive in the aftermath of the apocalypse.

Government

The city is not run my any individual or group.  An official government doesn't exist.
