Ian Clark
Military Man that kills Ace's Mom. Ian Clark was apart of a military group lead by Captain Smith on dead day (first day of apocalypse). Their squadron was given the order to kill the zombies and people that were bitten, the same order Cole's military squadron received. Unlike Cole, Ian Clark and his squad followed that order to the end. Many of the deadones and bitten living people were killed. Some of those innocent bitten people's loved ones tried to protect them but they were quickly shot down once they were given the order by Captain Smith that they "can't waste time on lives that refuse to be saved." All of Captain Smith men including Ian were extremely loyal and did what they were told. They were so loyal in fact that solider Lawernce proceeded to kill himself by shooting himself in the head after being bitten by the dead in front of his squad. After multiple shootouts and losing men, Ian Clark started losing his sanity. Ian Clark ended up having to kill his best friend/ squadron partner Stewart after he was bitten by one of the deadones. That made Ian Clark the last surviving solider from his squad. By time he ran into Ace he was in so much mental, emotional and physical pain Ian Clark couldn't speak but only act on his killing spree mission his squad was given. Ian Clark kills Ace's mom then is immediately killed by Ace afterwards.
