Red Eyes

Red eyed zombies are very aggressive making them more dangerous. All zombies have some sort of a red tint in their eyes, this is an effect the virus has on the body. “Bloodshot Eyes” is what the survivors call it. The eyes of the zombies can tell you how aggressive that zombie may be, the redder the eyes the more aggressive the zombie. The eyes can be extremely bloodshot red to very dull gray with a little red. A dead zombie will have no red in it at all. That goes for all the different types of zombies. In the beginning there are more of these aggressive zombies, due to the freshness of the zombies but overtime the eyes of the zombies become more and more dull, making aggressive zombies less and less. It is typical for a brand new zombie to have very bloodshot red eyes. Maybe around season 3 this becomes noticeable. Just about every type of zombie can have red eyes. They almost appear to show the emotion of anger and/or desperation when trying to get a kill. These red eyed zombies can run, jump, have more strength and make more noise by grunting. Dealing with five red eyes is a bigger task than dealing with five normal zombies. They move a lot faster and have more fight in them than slower ones. Now here is something very interesting, whenever a zombies hear a scream from a Screamer zombie their eyes will light up to bloodshot red, making them all very aggressive. Something to keep note.
