Arthur Morgan

The life of an outlaw is all Arthur Morgan has ever known. As a child, his mother died of unknown causes, while his father was a petty criminal and outlaw. In 1874, when Arthur was 11 years old, his father was arrested for larceny and was later hung for his crimes in front of his son.
Dutch Van der Linde met Arthur when he was just 14 years old, a particularly damaged and angry young delinquent who had been on the streets ever since losing his parents at a young age. Arthur became Dutch's first real protégé; with a little mentoring and structure, he transformed into his most dependable and capable enforcer. 
As a young adult, Arthur met a girl named Mary Gillis where the two fell deeply in love and even became engaged. However, Arthur's preference for a life of crime coupled with the prevalent disapproval of Mary's family, most strongly from her father. They considered running away together for a while but ultimately their relationship fell apart and the pair separated. His loyalty to Dutch has been unwavering ever since, though the recent failed robbery at Blackwater has clearly troubled him.
He is sharp, cool-headed, and ruthless, but with his own sense of honor. A man who prides himself on getting the job done.
