Silver Fox
American Silver Fox
The silver fox is a melanistic form of the red fox. Silver foxes display a great deal of pelt variation. Some are completely glossy black except for a white colouration on the tip of the tail, giving them a somewhat silvery appearance. This makes them a pretty rare find in the wild. The Silver Fox can be found in various habitats across the states. They are omnivores, feeding on plant matter, rodents, insects, birds, and carrion.
Hunting Tips
A Bow with Improved Arrows, or a repeater, is considered to be the best weapon to either wound or kill a fox. Their skin and claws can be used for crafting.
