Grazing near Aurora Basin, this buck has gained a reputation for its bright white coat. This buck is most active in the early morning and during dry weather as it prefers the peace and quiet the small lake provides. Vigilant and fleetfooted, these bucks will flee if they are aware of human nearby. Bide your time and approach carefully. Even the sound of the smallest twig will scare it of as these specimens are no stranger to being chased by hunters. Most hunters prefer the plains to hunt for deer, making it a lot easier to pick them off. The Snow Buck is also always accompanied by a small herd, making it even more crucial for naturalists and hunters alike to stay well hidden and out of sight as when the herd flees so will the buck.
