"I find that armor in any form is unflattering, to say the least, so i wear mine when I have to and /only/ when I have to. What's that? Oh, it's not that it's heavy or dirty, though those things aren't very becoming either. Honestly, it's just not very ladylike to be bounding all over the place jingling like a bag of coins."

Astraea isn't highborn in the literal sense, but she tends towards a degree of vanity and haughtiness that most elves gravitate towards naturally. Often, she will wear clean and pressed clothes and will go to great lengths to make sure she doesn't get herself dirty. She tends towards layered, midlength dresses that allow for lots of movement and will wear darker boots and shorts or black stockings to hide dirt on her travels. Midtone and muted colors with darker corsets or middle bands are her typical wear. Hidden pockets are always a plus, and she's usually found wearing something in the relative style of Victorian vintage. She tends away from pants or restricting embellished gowns, except on the most dire of occasions.
Her armor is designed to fit over most of her plain dresses, and she will often wear the two together. Her battle regalia is fairly well kept, but isn't pristine by any means. It's clear that she's had it for a while, and plans to continue to use it as long as she can while making small repairs to dings here and there. The armor consists of pauldrons and a chain shirt, put together under a chest guard that extends into a collar around her neck, hip deflection plates, and a middle guard that also functions as a belted corset.
