The Maw
A big bay on the southwestern coast of Dedelia. It was named after its strong resemblance of a dragon's head or jaws.
This bay is littered with sharp cliffs, extreme currents and dangerous riffs making it a living nightmare to navigate by boat or ship. These conditions caused so many ships to sink that it is now considered a ship-graveyard and no sane captain would come even close to the stone teeth of the maw.
Some people claimed that they saw ghost-ships sailing in these waters. Mainly the ghostly apparition of an trade-ship called the "Queen of the waves", one of the biggest non-military ships, that sunk in the maw around 200 years ago, is said to haunt the coast of the maw.
