The royal elven blood of the First Queen of Atromere flows through up to two dozen noble houses. The Atromiri Parliament consists of three houses: The Queensblood Congress (48 seats reserved for and representing citizens with verified royal lineage), the Congress of Coin (75 seats for those with land, property, or other wealth), and the Common Congress (50 seats reserved for citizens with neither royal blood nor property). These deliberative bodies govern internal matters at the behest of the Queen. A Prime Minister is selected by and from all three houses. The Queensblood Congress decides matters of succession. The Queen has veto power on all matters, and has full discretion on all foreign affairs.
