Delusions of Grandeur

Less of a single "world" and more of an entire shared continuity. My Delusions of Grandeur project currently consists of 5 distinct settings: The Fractured Lands, Proteus, Dreams of Glory, Dragon Souls, and Silent Space; and a couple more in a vague concepting stage.   The Fractured Lands is a kitchen-sink, "World-fragments suspended in the Sky"-type setting. The main story primarily follows the daily life of the landlord for a public rescue agency and trying to balance parenthood, job responsibilities, and whatever trouble the rest of the ensemble cast of tenants bring in.   Proteus is a soft-science-fiction/science-fantasy blend that set in the larger galaxy the other two exist within that alternates between the political dramedy of one of the major powers and their efforts to explore and co-exist with the galaxy as a whole.   Dreams of Glory is a high-fantasy Earth-analog where canines rose to dominance in-place of humans. Magic and dragons are ever-present, with each major region of the super-continent have its own relation with each.   Dragon Souls is a low-fantasy about a (figuratively and literally) underground dragon civilization, where humans are being reincarnated as dragons to help stem a declining draconic population.   Silent Space is hard-science-fiction about humanity's place in the wider galactic community fulled with endless varieties of extraterrestrial life.
