Shadow of War
Throughout the plot of Shadow of War, the remnants of the Blackwood family enlisted the help of spies and rogues around the continent to create an intelligence network to oppose the Caed Dhu, Viabuedon's secret service. These agents served the Blackwood Elder, Faustus, in his goal to uncover the secrets of Darvis Kur, the old elven capital.
As of this moment, any and all agents or accomplices of the Blackwood Faction are wanted for treason by the Viabuedon Crown.
Goals
The Blackwood faction seeks to overthrow the Viabuedon crown using information that was thought buried with Darvis Kur. They want to accomplish the apparent goal of the Caed Dhu: Using their spies in foreign governments to end the war and depose the empress of Destov, ending the warmongering regime and establishing peace. With Faustus Blackwood on the Viabuedon throne of course.

Attempted Regicide
Through the investigations of a band of adventurers working with the Caed Dhu, Viabuedon's royal guard, it was revealed that the Blackwood faction was responsible for orchestrating the attempted assassinations of Erowin Fallenwood, Erein of Viabuedon, as well as his heir, Brem Fallenwood.
