Masque
Masque is an agent of the Caed Dhu, a sub-faction of Viabuedon's royal guard that exists outside the public eye, gathering information from neighboring countries in the name of protecting their nation. Masque and her brother, Curio, were inducted into the organization at an unusually young age, and promoted quickly after they showed their expertise in intelligence-gathering. Due to her quick success, Masque carries herself with a brash attitude that regularly disgruntles her superiors, but they can't argue with her results.
Shadow of War
During the armistice between the warring nations of Dwinleigh and Destov, Masque was assigned to root out insurgent squads attempting to cause chaos for Dwinleigh and pin the attacks on Destov, potentially ending the shaky cease-fire. It was on this mission that Masque encountered a band of adventurers who had been thrown together by the chaos. Masque quietly followed them for a time before openly recruiting them to work with her to catch the insurgent masterminds.
Masque is an agent of the Caed Dhu, Viabuedon's secret intelligence agency. She has been helping the party unravel the mystery of the insurgent attacks in Datfin, and more recently contracted them to hunt down Faustus Blackwood, the suspected perpetrator.
