Session 17: House Warming

After returning from the mines, the village had been cleaned up somewhat, but the cheery attitude from the fair had been replaced by a grim sadness. As a two of people had died and others had been kitnapped. But as the group returned they where weary and tired from the figthing and exasuted from their subteraining adventure. So they headed straight for bed, spending mere moments to catch up with Thornik.

The following morning, a frigid cold had come down from the mountians and the town was turning frigid. With little else to do, the group wanted to head to their new property (Landhouse Weichselbraun) but with the cold and the likelihood of them entering the mountiains searching for the cure for Yera they first stopped by The Bouncing Gull to buy clothes, much to the dismay of Brodo, Randolf and Kam. This dismay turned into vindictiveness as them standing out in the cold evenctually had them setting up an ambush for Calia.

Lobelin eventaully picked out outfits for the others Tooks. And with a little more time spend the group was ready to go, all dressed in their cosy winter garb. All execpt Randolf who had ended up with a oversided coat, which caused him to trip on more than one occasion.

About 15 minutes later the group arrived at the landhouse, finding the frondoor locked. Volkar did find a broken trough window at the back trough which they entered and inside they found a blood trail. Following this trail had them entering the massive entrance hall, whiich was somehow even colder than outside, here Calia was jumped by a massive wolf which exhaled icy breath. And The group once again was forced to fight.
