Decades ago, a tyrannical frost giant sought to grasp more than mere trinkets from the denizens below. For years, the beasts below had offered him gold and meat to sate his wrath. The ground quaked when his conquest began. He started with the lesser giants: trolls, their ilk, and the goliath spawn. His brute army swept across the icey landscape, claiming the lives of innocents and defenders alike. Now, as the dust has settled, the newly declared "Jarl" Fraust'han has levied hefty taxes against the peoples of Mikitmor in order to feed his cannibalistic armies. Those who wander too far from civilization may be forced to pay a hefty toll or incur the wrath of the Frost Giant King.
