Oiltown

Town located at the edge of dusty plains and arid desert. Citizens and creatures alike are of a mechanical nature, allowing a curious new form of life to develop. Oil Town was once led by The Baron, a Warforged wrested control of the plains from the native Nemano people, slaying untold amounts of them in the process. In an effort to retain total control, the Baron eliminated all animal life in the area and dilligently replaced them (realizing their need in the ecosystem) with animatronic counterparts.

Nearly all of the animals here are constructs. Autognome and Warforged have a series of oil wells between the dusty plains and the harsh heat of the desert, Oil Town. The constructs here harvest the oil which they later refine into an enchanted black liquid capable of keeping the constructs here functioning until the end of the universe.

The Wardens recently paid this realm a visit, ousting the Baron and placing a warforged designated "Warden" as his replacement. The Nemano people have begun to assimilate into Oil Town society and peace has been restored. However, the rival oil families may sense weakness in the Baron's absence.
