Southport Central Docks

Southport Central Docks lie at the southern end of The Avenue, just past the Dockmaster fort. They extend from the shore about half a mile (0.8 km), allowing ten to twelve large ships or dozens of smaller ships to dock. The docks are protected by a long breakwater that extends from the shore east of Southport, just past the mouth of the East River, and another that extends from the shore just to the southeast of the Weston Gate and is contiguous with the city walls.
