Garrick Shondar

Garrick Shondar was a marshall of the Hellriders and now serves as a blacksmith for the hellriders as well as the city of Elturel. He lost his sight in 1478 DR when his patrol was ambushed by hill giants in which he was the only survivor, left with a head would that forever take his sight. Although Garrick was no longer able to ride alongside the Hellriders he remains faithful to the riders and the Creed Resolute by providing horse shoes and other commodities needed to keep the riders in operation.
Garrick is the grandson of Berelduin Shondar, High Watcher of Helm's Shieldhall in the late 14th century DR. Garrick's father, Hurnvar, was killed while on patrol with the Hellriders in 1465.
Although Garrick no longer rides with the Hellriders, most know him and his history with the organization. Many of the new and younger recruits come up with reasons to visit Garrick on behalf of the Hellriders just to spend time learning about their history and listening to his stories.
