Hero Points

At the end of the gaming session, the players will get have the opportunity to vote for the MVP player of the game. Additionally, the GM will also give a GM award. The MVP and GM awardee will be awarded Hero Points.   Hero Points can be used in one of three ways –  

Game Abilities:

Ability Benefit Point Cost
Offensive Prowess A character can have +1 to all attack and damage rolls for one gaming session 3
Defensive Prowess A character can have +1 to AC for one one gaming session 3
That Spell Guy A character will have double their spell points or spell slots at the start of a gaming session 3
Efficient Caster Any spells cast by the player will only cost half of their its spell points 3
Skilled Acumen Double your proficiency bonus for one gaming session 3
Offensive Fortune A character can have +1 to all damage for one gaming session 3
Defensive Fortune A character can have an advantage on all saving throws for one gaming session 3
Eagle Scout Win Initiative for one gaming session 3
Melee Art of War Gain advantage of on all melee attacks for one gaming session 4
Range Art of War Gain advantage of on all range attacks for one gaming session 4
Magic Man Any user of magic gets a Spell Action Surge for one gaming session ( Action Surge rules apply) 4
 

Permanent Abilities:

  Characters can also hold on to their points for something permanent.

Languages are Cool Learn any language ( able to speak, write and read chosen language ) 3
Know your Stuff Attain a +1 competence bonus to any skill 3
Accomplished Gain a bonus Proficiency 4
Master of Skills Gain expertise with a proficiency that you already know 5
Fleet Footed Increase base land speed by 10 feet permanently 5
The Age of Enlightenment Gain a bonus feat 8
I am Magic Able to choose from a DM made spell list to make a spell into an innate ability 10
   

Training:

School of the Hard Knocks Gain +2 to one attribute or +1 to 2 attributes 8
