The Great crater

The great crater was created by an ancient asteroid impact. This asteroid came from another planet filled with magic. The dust scattered around the world, and made a magical substance similar to the weave in other worlds. Although the asteroid has less use to magic now, it can still be used for some magical purposes such as airships. The wisest mages study there, and many who are born near there eventually become great spellcasters.
