Volatus wings

Volatus wings: Found in the most ancient ruins and made of unknown materials, the Volatus wings are exceedingly rare. Because of this, synthetic versions are also available. Volatus wings allow users to fly at a slight downward angle at roughly 80 mph, traveling 6 times longer than their launch pad. They may also travel twice as fast for half of the distance covered. The only trouble is finding a place to launch from, although using a firework can give players up to a mile of initial height. However, this requires care, and it is entirely possible that the launched person gets hurt or killed if they are untrained. Users are common, even though it is expensive. Synthetic wings are typically lower quality than natural wings, and cost anywhere from 300-7000 gold, with higher end wings lasting near forever unless damaged, and lower end ones lasting about a year's worth of gliding. Natural wings last for an unknown amount of time as long as they’re taken care of, and go slightly faster than most synthetic copies. They cost upwards of 10,000 gold due to their rarity. The DM may make different forms of wings should they so choose.
