Maddening Darkness

Maddening Darkness is an illness which causes the potions to slowly lose all sense of rationality.

Transmission & Vectors

The illness is transferred by unknown means. Some healers believe it to be transfer when the patient bites or claws another creature, while others believe it to transferred via air, like it's cousin illness Airheaded Cold.

Causes

It has been discovered by the party that Vicmar is the cause of the illness. He, via unkown means, modified the Airheaded Cold into something more deadly and more potent in it's means of spreading.

Symptoms

The patient first has the normal symptoms of an airheadness cold:

• Teary eyes
• Forgetfulness
• Feverish
• Dry cough

However after the initial week where a normal Air Cold would be over symptoms will worsen with addition of aggressive behavior. Eventually they will start to cough and cry blackish blood, when reaching this stage all reasoning with the patient will be fruitless and most will perish after seven wind cycles, either by their own hand or by another.

Treatment

Currently there is no cure.

Prevention

The Seelie Court has taken precaution of allowing the fey of the Unseelie side to their side of the plane.
