About a few thousand years after the creation of Theros, another shard broke off from Magia creating Asja.

After a few thousand years, another piece broke off from Magia, creating Asja. Many speculate that the reason for this break was that the amount of Chaotic magic that the Plane of Magia carries became to large causing a piece to break loose. Others speculate that a forgotten or ancient God form Theros was the reason behind the break and that Asja was intentionally made.
